Ms. Delisa Lewis attended this Year's North American YMCA's Development Organization Conference NAYDO from 7th to 10th April 2010. It all took place in the Queen’s state Charlotte, North Carolina. The conference information shared has rejuvenated the spirit of fund raising and development in the Y’s in attendance.

The major theme coming out of the workshops and keynotes speakers was the need to tell the Y Story with ‘swaga’ and make it ‘sexy’. Do not tell it only to those who are familiar, but to others who may now be having their first experience at the Y. The Y message is powerful and inspiring; it moves mountains, and gives each person touched by our volunteers a new direction in life. At the conference there were over 31 regions represented and over 20 international delegates including Trinidad and Tobago. Next Year’s Conference will be held in Anaheim, Californian, USA.
