The YMCA’s Early Childhood Learning Centre is acknowledged as a premiere provider, of child care services in Trinidad and Tobago. Our curriculum is thematic, based on the interest of the children. Typical course of activities include: Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Language Arts, Physical Education and Creative Arts. The YMCA works in partnership with families, respecting the diverse cultural backgrounds that enrich our programmes, recognizing all families have different needs, interests and expectations

Our Last Camp

No matter what’s his or her interest!


We have three camps annually Easter, July- August and Christmas.
We offer everything from sports and swimming to dance, history through
drama, and of course craft.

YMCA Day Camp includes trips to outdoor activity centres or other places of interest, such as museums, theatres and science centres and heritage sites.

At camp, children find fun activities, friendships and adventure while learning new skills and building self-esteem while developing an appreciation for our cultural.

YMCA camps emphasize participation, fair play, team spirit and leadership skills. Children from all backgrounds and abilities participate in traditional sports, personal and team challenges and activities based on universal principles of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

About Us

The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) is the oldest and largest youth organisation in the world and operates in 130 countries with a membership of 30 million people and its programmes reach over 150 million persons. It was founded in London in 1844 by George Williams. His mission was to provide a wholesome, Christian alternative to life on the streets to young men away from home for the first time. To accomplish his task he offered Bible study and prayer to the young men.In Trinidad and Tobago, we have been operating since 1964 and our main focus is on work with children and youth. Our mission is to develop healthy, caring, responsible individuals contributing to a society characterized by love and unity. Participants include boys, girls, men and women of all ages, races, religions and economic backgrounds.
