YMCA Early Childhood Centres...Learning through play
For 22 years YMCA of Trinidad and Tobago has cared for toddlers and
preschoolers at Early Childhood Care and Education Centres,
 The YMCA’s Early Childhood Learning Centre is acknowledged as a premiere provider, of child care services in Trinidad and Tobago. Our curriculum is thematic, based on the interest of the children. Typical course of activities include: Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Language Arts, Physical Education and Creative Arts.
The YMCA works in partnership with families, respecting the diverse cultural backgrounds that enrich our programmes, recognizing all families have different needs, interests and expectations.
Our service gives the working parent peace of mind through:
- Supervision from 6:30 am – 5pm
- Certified staff provide opportunities for child initiated activities
- Child-centered environment where children 3 months – 5 years are educated spiritually, physically, intellectually, creatively and socially.
Extra curricular activities include
- Swimming
- Gymnastics
- Tenor Pan
- Computer
- Karate
- Sign Language
Jillisa Drayton-Campbell (Past YMCA parent) says,
